How it is scored
Each of the five traits sums ten items on a five-point accuracy scale, reversing the minus-keyed items exactly as the IPIP instructions say. Scores run from 10 to 50. There is no norm yet, so you see where your answers fall on the scale, not how you rank against others.
We only show what the evidence supports: no percentiles or rankings until a reviewed norm exists for your language.
Questions people ask
- Is this the real Big Five test?
- It is the IPIP-50, a public-domain, widely used set of Big-Five marker items, unchanged. Many commercial tests derive from the same tradition.
- Why no percentile?
- A percentile needs a norm sample that resembles you. We do not have one yet. When we do, and it has been reviewed, percentiles will appear with the sample described.
- How long does it take?
- Most people finish in eight to ten minutes. There is no time limit and you can pause and continue.
- Do I need an account?
- No. You see the full free result right away. A free account only keeps it permanently and across devices.
